Figurative and other work
I painted this in response to the shooting at Emanuel AME here in Charleston. I almost plead for a Divine intervention perhaps recognizing my need for it.
During an “all lanes closed” at the top of the Ravenel bridge, I managed to snap this picture. I like how boldly she walked to the front to see what was happening.
Gift for a caregiver.
Kids being kids…play is a gift.
My daughter is a dancer. There is such transition during this time…like the light passing across these shoes.
Gift for a good friend whose mom passed away. She was a bright bold gift that is missed everyday.
Tiny oil on panel.
Tiny charcoal drawing.
I wanted to represent what decision making can feel like for a child.
